HOW WE CAME TO BE

June of 2020, Emma Boles decided to host the Virtual Unfinished Works Festival thanks to the push from her roommate, Lily Cate Gunther-Canada. And One Egg No Batter was born. With the mission statement "Theatre for Social Justice and the Human Condition."

About Us: About Us

Started with the Virtual Unfinished Works Festival, producing 11 new works with actors, directors, playwrights, and stage managers all around the world. Then we produced A Midsummer Night's Dream with again a production team and cast all around the world.

In 2021, we have so far produced two 24-hour play festivals: Plays for Today and Plays for Today: March Madness and had the world premiere of I Name You by Rebecca Kane. After that came the reading of Mykai Eastman's new play LoveJoy and the world premiere of Leah Roth Barsanti's Women Who Hate Their Jobs
